Kesha has revealed the change she made during Coachella to her song which mentions P Diddy will be permanent.
The 37-year-old singer songwriter took to the stage at Coachella last month and performed a rendition of her much-loved hit 'TiK ToK,' however, she made a significant change to the lyrics.
The original opening lyrics of the track read: "Wake up in the morning feeling like P Diddy."

P Diddy refers to the rapper whose real name is Sean Combs.
However, during her performance on April 14 up on stage in Indio, California, Kesha - full name Kesha Rose Sebert - sang: "Wake up in the morning morning like 'f**k P Diddy.'"
But why?
Combs is accused of rape
Well, Combs has faced multiple lawsuits and also had two of his homes raided by police earlier this year in March.

In November, 2023, the rapper's former partner Cassandra 'Cassie' Ventura filed a lawsuit alleging he 'frequently beat' her and also raped her.
Combs 'vehemently denie[d]' the allegations, his lawyers slamming them as 'baseless and outrageous' and just one day after the lawsuit was filed, the pair reached a settlement, both saying they'd decided to 'resolve [the] matter amicably'.
The lawsuit was filed the same month Joie Dickerson-Neal filed one against the rapper too, alleging Combs drugged her, sexually assaulted and secretly recorded the assault, NBC reported - having seen the filing.
And that's not the only controversy Combs has faced in the last year.
Combs is accused of sexual harassment and drugging
Producer Rodney 'Lil Rod' Jones filed a lawsuit against the musician in February 2024 claiming in the time he worked for Combs between September 2022 and November 2023, he was sexually harassed, drugged and threatened by the rapper.

He also accused Combs of hosting 'sex-trafficking parties' and was 'subjected to unwanted advances by associates of Diddy at his direction'.
Combs' attorney told The Los Angeles Times the rapper strongly denies the allegations and Jones' accusations are 'pure fiction'.
Combs' houses are raided
In March 2024, Homeland Security raided the rapper's homes in Miami and Los Angeles in connection with a sex trafficking investigation being conducted by federal agents.

Homeland Security Investigations confirmed the raid in a statement, however, did not say if Combs was the target of the investigation.
Combs' attorney responded to the raid stating: "Mr. Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities. Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way."
According to NBC News, since November, three more women have also come forward claiming they've been assaulted by Combs.

However, despite the lawsuits and the police raid, Combs has not been accused of any crime by federal prosecutors nor formally charged and maintains his stance of strongly denying all of the allegations against him.
But that hasn't stopped Kesha from resolving to permanently changing the lyrics to her song, with the singer telling a TMZ reporter who asked if the change is permanent: "Yes it will be. So the fans should learn it for my upcoming shows. I want to hear it [fans singing the lyric] louder than ever."
