Taylor Swift's publicist slams 'fabricated lies' that the singer was secretly married to Joe Alwyn

The pair had been dating for six years before they split

Taylor Swift's publicist has slammed 'fabricated lies' that the singer was ever married to Joe Alwyn.

Earlier this year, Swift separated from Alwyn after six years together.

Speculation of the couple's split grew from multiple US news outlets, with Entertainment Tonight claiming their breakup was 'amicable' and 'not dramatic'.

CNN also collaborated those reports, claiming the couple had grown apart and ended up going their separate ways months ago.

But to this day, neither party has released a public statement about going their separate ways.

Since then, reports have surfaced from celebrity gossip Instagram account DeuxMoi, who suggested that Swift and Alwyn had secretly tied the knot while they were together.

But Tree Paine, Swift's publicist, has flat out denied these rumors.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, she wrote: "Enough is enough with these fabricated lies about Taylor from Deuxmoi. There was NEVER a marriage or ceremony of ANY kind. This is an insane thing to post. It’s time for you to be held accountable for the pain and trauma you cause with posts like these."

Since separating from Alwyn, Swift has reportedly dated The 1975's frontman Matty Healy - though their romance was very much short lived as they apparently broke up in June after realizing they 'weren't compatible'.

There were even rumors the 'Shake It Off' singer dated Formula 1 driver Fernando Alonso for a while, though that speculation was never confirmed nor denied.

These days, Swift's romance with NFL star Travis Kelce appears to be blossoming.

During a recent performance of her hit track 'Karma' at her Buenos Aires, Argentina show, Swift decided to switch up the lyrics seemingly as a nod to her current beau.

Normally, the lyrics are: "'Cause karma is my boyfriend, Karma is a god. Karma is the breeze in my hair on the weekend, Karma's a relaxing thought."

But Swift decided to mix things up, instead singing: “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me.”

Given that The Chiefs are Kelce's team, fans were very quick to catch on to what she was getting at.

And given the lyrics saying 'karma is my boyfriend', many fans saw it as Swift officially putting a label on the pair's relationship.

Kelce could be seen in a box watching the show, and when he realized what had happened, he looked visibly touched by the tribute from Swift.

A proper love story.
