Alec Baldwin stunned as daughter shuts him down in ‘most savage celebrity roast’

Alec Baldwin was left shocked as his daughter delivered one of the most brutally savage celebrity roasts.

The clip of Ireland Baldwin laying into her father has resurfaced on social media.

The video from Comedy Central's 2019 roast of Alec Baldwin has so far been upvoted more than 10,000 times since being posted on Reddit on Sunday (5 November).

It was captioned: “The most savage celebrity roast I’ve ever seen, by their own daughter!!!

"Feel like I just witnessed a therapy session."

While the Comedy Central roasts have built up a reputation as being both brutal and hilarious, Baldwin certainly didn't hold back.

She took aim at the 30 Rock star, joking that she, like the rest of the stage, 'didn't know' her father very well and about his acting career, saying: "It hasn’t been easy being the daughter of an iconic movie star.

"But I’m not here to talk about my mother. Or her Oscar."

She also made reference to his infamous voicemail to her in 2007 when she was 12-years-old - which the actor has since apologized for.

“Once again, I have made an a** of myself trying to get to a phone. You have insulted me for the last time," Baldwin said in the voicemail.

“I don't give a damn that you're 12 years old or 11 years old or a child, or that your mother is a thoughtless pain in the a** who doesn't care about what you do.

“You've made me feel like s**t and [you need to] straighten your a** out. I'll let you know how I really feel about what a thoughtless little pig you are.

"You are a rude, little pig, okay.”

And Ireland played into the awkwardness in her opening jokes, leaving her father stunned.

“It is good to be here, I almost didn’t even know about it because I haven’t checked my voice mails from my dad from the last, like, 12 years or something,” she said.

“I actually have a lot in common with the people on this Roast, because like them, I don’t really know you that well either." she continued.

“A lot of people know my dad as that guy from the Mission Impossible movies or that guy from 30 Rock. I know him as that guy from, like, half of my birthday parties.”

As the audience burst into laughter, Baldwin looked away and let out loud fake laughter, to the amusement of the crowd.

The model also referenced an infamous incident her father had with American Airlines and really made his jaw drop when she said: "A lot of people only know my dad as an angry guy, but he’s more than some lunatic who loses his temper. He also loses Emmys. And Oscars. And custody of his firstborn child.”

Ouch.

She then signed off by calling him a 'wonderful father' and 'an amazing actor', adding: "After all the years of giving verbal abuse, it’s finally time you received some."
