Popular Twitch streamer Amouranth has been temporarily banned from the platform and her fans want to know why.
The streamer, real name Kaitlyn Siragusa, has millions of followers on the site but anyone wanting to watch her content at the moment is being told that she's been hit with a ban that came into effect on 4 May.
Fans hopping onto her channel are met with the message: "This channel is temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch's Community Guidelines or Terms of Service."

With over six million followers on Twitch that's going to be a lot of people wondering what's happened, while there has been no further information provided as to why she's been banned.
It's the first time the streamer, who joined Twitch back in 2016, has been banned since 2021 and she hasn't yet responded to news of the ban.
Amouranth hasn't streamed on Twitch since 1 May, while her recent social media activity consists of a Twitter post from yesterday (4 May, the day of the ban) saying 'hey?' which makes no reference to it.

She's one of the most successful Twitch stars on the incredibly popular streaming service, being named the most watched female streamer on the site in 2021 and 2022.
That sort of popularity can make for quite a lucrative way to make a living as she revealed that she can make $100,000 a month from her immense popularity on Twitch, though it's dwarfed by the amount she earns from OnlyFans as she said that site earns her 'like $1.5 million a month'.
Then again, people make some pretty weird requests of her on that site so it's always good to have a range of ventures.
Being so popular on Twitch can lead to other ways to make money as well, as she once received $70,000 in cash as an anonymous gift from a fan along with a brand new phone.

According to indy100 some of Amouranth's fans have suggested that a possible reason behind her ban may be a recent clash with fellow Twitch streamer Adriana Chechik.
They reported that Chechik criticised Amouranth on a stream on 27 April, saying she had 'no respect' for other female streamers.
Amouranth responded in the comments of Chechik's YouTube channel by saying she'd 'challenge her in the ring'.

Twitch's policy forbids threats or attempts of causing physical harm whether it happens on their site or elsewhere, so that may be a potential explanation for what's going on here.
UNILAD has contacted Twitch for comment.
