The 20-year-old was reportedly riding his electric bike without a helmet and crashed into the back of a car, law enforcement agencies have reportedly told TMZ.
Pax reportedly suffered a head injury following the crash and was rushed to hospital to receive treatment for the injury.
Reports have suggested that Pax, 20, had been driving down Los Feliz Boulevard at about 5pm local time.
This would have been a busy street during rush hour traffic.

It's been suggested that medics were initially concerned about a potential complication of a head injury and rushed Pax to hospital.
Sources later told TMZ that Pax's condition in hospital was stable, and even indicated that he may be able to go home soon.
Pax has frequently been spotted riding around Los Angeles on his electric bike in recent months.
His bike has been identified as a Talaria Sting R MX4 electric bike, though it's not clear if this is the bike he was riding during the crash.

Pax has become estranged from Pitt amid Jolie and Pitt's separation.
The pair confirmed their split when Jolie filed for divorce in 2016, and the pair were both declared legally single in 2019.
Since then, the pair have become embroiled in custody battles and legal wrangling over their shared assets, including a vineyard in France.
Neither Jolie or Pitt have commented publicly on reports about the crash.
A representative for Brad Pitt declined to comment.
