In most interviews you see of the two, they are opening up and holding back tears discussing their most intimate thoughts and feelings, and fans have really rejoiced at the pair’s apparent closeness.
Speaking at a live event hosted by the SAG-AFTRA foundation earlier this month, Grande explained they even have a pact between one another and are open and genuine in their friendship.
She went on to say when it came to the film’s contract, they both decided to go through it together to ensure they were both happy before they started shooting.

Grande said: “We talk a lot about this pact that we made to take care of each other and to be really honest with each other about anything that were to come up.
“But I don’t think people really get how granular we got and how fully we mean that.
“When I got my contract I called her and I was like, ‘Hey, let’s go through this thing.
"'Let’s go beat per beat through this together and make sure that we’re aligned in what we need.'

"Because if you need something, we need it together. I want us to have each other’s backs.
"Like, your problems become my problems, and mine become yours."
Footage of the moment shows the crowd begin to applaud Grande for the comments, while people on social media also praised the actress and singer.
Grande’s admission comes after fans on social media have begun speculating over what each actress was paid.

In fact, some fans were sent into a frenzy over unsubstantiated claims and reports that Grande was paid a whopping $14 million more than Erivo for her role.
However, a spokesperson for Universal has since addressed the alleged controversy.
They told The Hollywood Reporter: "Reports of pay disparity between Cynthia and Ariana are completely false and based on internet fodder.
