The frontman of Imagine Dragons has left fans baffled by appearing at a jiu-jitsu tournament over the 4 July weekend.
Lots of musicians have many strings to their bow, forgive the pun. For example, there's Bruce Dickinson from Iron Maiden, who in addition to music has also got a commercial pilot's licence, is a brewer and once placed 7th for Great Britain in fencing.
But Dickinson is not the only musician who also boasts sporting prowess. It turns out that Dan Reynolds, the frontman for Imagine Dragons, is also a skilled martial artist himself, though in a very different sport to fencing.

Reynolds surprised and delighted fans when he unexpectedly turned up at a jiu-jitsu tournament. He competed in a Masters tournament, which are tournaments held for athletes in specific age brackets ranging from 30 to 35 years to 56 years and older.
Reynolds managed to more than hold his own as well. The Imagine Dragons singer beat Rocky Bang, he then lost a match to Tyree Saxton Jr, before going on to win two matches in a row to Kent Brower and Moises Lister.
In the end, Reynolds took home the bronze medal in the tournament. Not bad at all!

Reynolds was cheered on at the tournament by his girlfriend Minka Kelly. The actor could be seen cheering from the audience throughout the tournament.
The pair then left together, with the bronze medal hanging around Reynolds' neck.
Minka, 43, and Dan, 35, were first spotted together back in November 2022, with rumours having surfaced that despite initially taking things slow the pair are now getting more serious together.

Kelly is currently working on a new thriller Blackwater Lane alongside Dermot Mulroney and Maggie Grace. The murder mystery details the story of a woman, played by Kelly, who drives by a mysterious figure on the road.
It transpires that the figure may not be entirely of this world, being someone who may have met their end in a rather grisly way. The film is based on The Breakdown by B.A. Paris.
Meanwhile, Reynolds has a lot on his plate as well with a new project coming soon with Imagine Dragons. The singer has a busy schedule featuring tour dates across the globe.
Imagine Dragons will also see their live show Imagine Dragons: Live in Las Vegas premiering on streaming platform Hulu.
