After entering the spotlight as a child, Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has opened up about fatherhood as he's welcomed a little boy of his own.
It's true; that once-innocent, 11-year-old wizard has grown up and had a baby, though thankfully he doesn't have to worry about protecting him from Lord Voldemort.
Instead, he can focus on enjoying life as a dad - as 'intense' as it might be.
Radcliffe celebrated the arrival of his son with his girlfriend, Erin Darke, in April, though the parents kept details about their newborn under wraps for the first couple of months.

Now, the actor has confirmed that they welcomed a baby boy, and that life as a dad is 'great'.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, he said: "It's crazy and intense, but he's wonderful and Erin is amazing - it's a real privilege also to have this time with him."
Radcliffe, who is next set to appear in the fourth series of TBS' Miracle Workers, went on to explain that he'd always planned to take some time off when his child arrived.

"Not everyone is able to do [that], and so I'm able to kind of just be here with him a lot, which is lovely," he said. "So, we're having a great time."
Radcliffe expects his son to be a factor when it comes time to choose his future projects, but at the moment the arrival of the newborn 'hasn't really yet affected things'.
"I really like spending time with him, and I think I'm gonna miss him when I go back to work later in the year," Radcliffe said.
"So, I will definitely be I think a bit more selective - not more selective, I've always been selective - but I think I'll probably work a little bit less for the next few years."

But while fans might have to deal with Radcliffe taking a small step back, we don't have to worry about him disappearing forever.
"I'll never be stopping," he explained. "I don't think that's good for me either."
The arrival of the baby comes 10 years after Radcliffe and Darke began dating. When news of Darke's pregnancy emerged earlier this year the pair were said to be 'absolutely overjoyed' to be growing their family.

Even before he became a father, Radcliffe spoke about his hopes for his future family as he told Newsweek he'd 'love for [his kids] to be around film sets'.
“A dream would be for them to come onto a film set and be like, ‘God, you know, I’d love to be in the art department. I’d love to be something in the crew'," he said.
We'll have to wait and see whether the little boy decides to follow in his father's footsteps.
