People have been shocked by discovering Donald Trump's level of education in comparison to former president Barack Obama, and not everyone is of the same opinion.
Obama served for two consecutive terms from 2009 to 2017 - a feat that Trump didn't manage to pull off, leading to former POTUS Joe Biden to be elected in between Trump's two terms.
As Trump's policies have been proving controversial, talk has turned to his academic achievements.

While education isn't certainly defining of a person's culture, it can be an indicator of what a good, knowledgeable politician could do for their country.
While Trump's Apprentice stint and his Home Alone 2 cameo are not his only accolades before becoming president, when it comes to education, some people are claiming his resume pales in comparison to that of Obama.

The internet hasn't stopped asking questions regarding Trump's education since he first landed onto the US political scene, though not a lot is known about his time at University of Pennsylvania, colloquially know as UPenn.

After spending some time at the New York Military Academy, Trump first enrolled at Fordham University.
Two years later, he transferred to UPenn, where he enrolled to a four-year business degree course at the college's business school, Wharton School. He graduated in 1968, but his grades haven't been made public.
As for Obama, some may remember that the former president first made headlines in the early 1990s when he became the first Black president of the Harvard Law Review, the prestigious law journal published by a group of independent students at the university.
Prior to his Harvard Law years, Obama had attended the Occidental College in Los Angeles, then transferred to Columbia University, where he majored in political science with a specialty in international relations and English literature.

From Harvard Law, he graduated magna cum laude in 1991, which means he ended up near the top of his class.
On Quora, the debate pitting the two presidents against each other on grounds of academic achievements continues.
"Barack Obama has a law degree! That takes a lot of work!" one person noted, while another pointed out that while Obama 'went through more education' that 'doesn't mean he's smart'.

Someone else was clearly fed up with the debate: "Damn!!! Is there NO END to this stupid question always being asked? Unlike 47, Obama has a law degree, was president of the law journal while in college, etc. Do people think that CONSTANTLY asking this will somehow morph into him being other than what he is?"
"Now all the idiots will 'presume' that Obama is smarter than President Trump because he went to school longer," was another comment. "The confusion between intellect and education is alarming, since they are two very different things, but if the 'agenda' is met by spewing this junk, it's all OK. How dumb."
While he's had to leave the White House in his rearview mirror, Obama continues being a key political and culture figure globally.
Putting his English lit degree to good use, Obama releases end-of-year lists of what he's enjoyed in the literary, musical, and cinematic fields each year, thus championing well-known authors as well as writers from underrepresented communities.
