Drew Barrymore's love of the rain has gone viral on TikTok.
While we're stuck in the sweltering heat, wishing we could phone E.T. to take us away, Drew appears to be thoroughly enjoying a cooler climate - joyfully dancing around in the rain.
This past Sunday, 17 July, the actor and talk show host urged her followers to run into the rain and honestly Drew, we would if we could.

Check it out:
It all started back in late May, when the Santa Clarita Diet actor first shared a video on TikTok urging her followers: "If it's raining anywhere you are just run out in the rain, don't miss the opportunity."
Despite being soaked from head to to – something that'd normally dampen your day – Drew beamed and it's safe to say fans were thrilled to see her happy.

One even wanted to make friends with the chipper star: "Can we please befriend this woman??!!! Like how do we make it happen????"
While some got nostalgic: "This is so nostalgic to me because of the Ever After rain scene 😍 the best!!!!"
Another added: "I just watched 50 First Dates, both excellent films."
While others pledged to do it next time there was a drop of rain: "You are so right! Next time it rains instead of running to get out of it I will run into it."

And just in case that user forgot to run into the rain, Drew gave people a quick update this past Sunday.
It's clear to see that Drew's feelings about the weather haven't changed, in fact, she seemed happier than ever as she twirled in the rain.
One fan urged her to never change: "Don't ever change Drew ❤️❤️❤️ I hope one day I can meet you and we can be silly in the rain together! #flowerchildren."
Others shared the footage with their friends, saying: "I hope this brings you as much joy as it did for me."

A third shared their own sweet story: "Me and my kids played in the rain yesterday in Alabama ❤️ Something about being in the rain and embracing it makes your soul feel better."
Some, however, were a little more used to seeing the rain: "It gets old believe me, especially in Ireland when it rains 365 days a year."
The clip has since gone viral and has over 2.8 million likes, and if we could like it a million more, we would.
