Elon Musk has hit back at Kanye West after the rapper and fashion designer described him as a 'half Chinese genetic hybrid' in his latest social media rant.
It had been a few days since we last heard from Ye, so we were probably due another ragingly offensive comment from him sooner or later.
But people probably didn't expect his next target to be Twitter owner and richest man alive Elon Musk, who restored a number of previously banned Twitter accounts after his $44 billion takeover, including that of West's.

However, it looks like West has turned on Musk as he has been banned from Twitter all over again for violating the site's terms against incitement to violence.
West was first banned from the bird app when he vaguely but terrifyingly threatened to go 'death con 3' on Jewish people.
And not long after his account was reinstated, the rapper used his clean slate to do the same thing all over again, tweeting an image of a swastika over the Star of David, and coming up with truly disgusting Anti-semitic comments in interviews.

If you're still defending this guy, it's worth taking a good long look at yourself in the mirror, going outside and getting some fresh air, and remembering that even Musk, the ambassador of absolute free speech, has had enough.
After being banned from Twitter for a second time, West ran to another social media site - this time Instagram - to hit out at Elon.
The post read: "Am I the only one who thinks Elon could be half-Chinese? Have you ever seen his pics as a child?
"Take a Chinese genius and mate them a with South African supermodel and we have an Elon."

He continued: "I say an Elon because they probably made 10 to 30 Elons and he is the first genetic hybrid that stuck... Well let's not forget about Obama."
The post earned over one million likes, because for some reason, people still care about what this man has to say.
Back over on Twitter, Musk reacted to West's tirade by calmly tweeting: "I take that as a compliment!"

Someone must have sent West a screenshot of Musk's response - since he can't access Twitter by himself anymore - because the rapper shared the response in a separate Instagram post, assuring the billionaire: "It was meant as a compliment, my friend. Now Obama on the other hand…"
