Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham has defended her 14-year-old daughter getting lip piercings.
For my 14th birthday, I got a sugar rush from the mocktail punch and danced around to Tame Impala’s Lonerism.
Very cool (I know).

However, Abraham has upped the ante with her daughter Sophia's birthday, allowing the teen to get multiple face piercings, including one on her lower lip.
She shared the moment to TikTok and captioned the video: "HAPPY 14th Birthday! #snakebite & #earlobe piercing party! 6 piercings later #snakebitepiercings you match your snake. can you even eat your cake?"
As you guessed, TikTokers went into a full frenzy and questioned Abraham’s parenting style.

One person wrote: “Gives prison vibes!”
Another said: “Ew. No reputable piercer would do that many piercings at once. Your body can’t heal them. Three is the max.”
While another commented: “Wow, good parenting, you absolute train wreck. Fix yourself.”
However, many came to the reality star’s defense.

One person noted: “Good job taking her to get them in a clean, professional environment, so she doesn’t sneak out and do them in someone’s garage like I did.”
While another shared: “I do love that she's given the freedom to be authentically herself, free from judgement and conforming.”
The reality star has since responded to the criticism to TMZ.
She told the outlet that she wants to support her daughter as best she can.
After Sophia told her she wanted more facial piercings, Abraham said she ensured professional piercers were involved.

She added that Sophia got only some of the piercings she wanted after a professional advised against it.
Last year, the Teen Mom star copped similar backlash when she allowed her daughter to get a septum piercing.
At the time, the mum shared a similar sentiment to TMZ.
“I think her generation of 13 is much different than my generation of 13. Sophia is the first ... in my family to get a septum piercing, especially at 13," she said.

"I would rather it be by a professional, sanitized and clean, than my teen going, sneaking off and doing it herself and getting an infection."
She added: "We abided by the law. I am doing my best as a parent to make sure that she is healthy and happy, and I covered those bases.”
Ah ‘mum shame’, it’s a real thing.
