Howard Stern has asked why someone hasn't stepped in to protect Kanye West in the wake of his recent outbursts.
From debuting White Lives Matter t-shirts, to spewing anti-Semitic rhetoric; from outlining his conspiracy theory about George Floyd's death, to his very public feuding with his ex-wife and her family, it's safe to say Ye has had an intense few months.
Stern is wondering whether a conservatorship, like the one Britney Spears was subjected to for more than a decade, would benefit the rapper.
The American radio host said Ye's recent comments, particularly about Jewish people, are indefensible, regardless of the fact that the 45-year-old suffers from mental health conditions.

"You gotta hear the s**t this guy’s into and f**k this mental illness, self defense thing that he’s into, you know, like, ‘Oh yeah, he’s just mentally ill. Don’t worry about it'," Stern said, according to Mediaite.
He added: “If he’s so mentally ill. Why don’t they appoint a conservator over his money like they did with the poor Britney Spears?”
The Donda rapper recently ripped into the Jewish people and claimed there are some who 'control' the media and spin lies about him.

But Stern wasn't having it.
“Guess what, douchebag? When they write about me, they call me the shock jock," he said.
"You don’t have control over — You are a rapper. That is what you are. That’s how you became famous.
"If a newspaper article doesn’t point out the fact that you’re some sort of designer or genius, maybe that’s not because they’re Jewish, but maybe because they just doesn’t put that much thought into who the f**k you are and what your business is.

“This is so depressing.
"I mean, Kanye used to be fun crazy. Now he’s like Hitler."
George Floyd's family recently revealed they would be launching a $250 million lawsuit against Ye after he claimed Floyd died from fentanyl.

The rapper isn't convinced the man, whose death sparked a huge resurgence of the Black Lives Matter movement around the world, died as a result of a police officer kneeling on his neck for nearly nine minutes.
Hennepin County Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Andrew Baker ruled the fentanyl found in Floyd's system and the 46-year-old's heart disease were contributing factors to his death but not direct causes.
The lawsuit accuses West of having made 'blatantly false statements about George Floyd’s death to promote his brands, and increase marketing value and revenue for himself, his business partners, and associates'.
The filing also brands West's comments as 'malicious falsehoods' said to 'profit from Mr Floyd's horrendous death and his family's trauma'.
