Marston Hefner has said his father ‘didn’t know where he was’ and noted concern about a possible change to his will before his death.
Marston Hefner, the son of Playboy founder and editor-in-chief Hugh Hefner, has recently told the world his concerns regarding his father.
Hugh Hefner died at the age of 91 in 2017 and left behind a legacy. However, Marston has said he has concerns regarding his father’s will.

Speaking to the New York Post earlier this month, Marston questioned how much he got in his father’s will.
The 34-year-old suggested that changes had been made when his father had ill health before his death, something he pinned on Hefner's widow, Crystal Hefner.
"From my understanding, I did not receive all the funds meant to go to me in terms of what my dad wanted me to get," Marston said.

"And nobody f**king knew that the will was being changed until [after] he passed away. I did not know the will was changed until we received the will.
"I was upset. When they were explaining the inheritance and how it would work, I was baffled. I didn’t understand."
With that being said, Marston is still happy with what he got and his ability to live financially free.
"There is nothing I can do. I’m happy with what I got. I’m grateful to be in a financially secure situation. I can provide for my family and have a blessed life. I don’t have hard feelings and resentment. I just want to put out how I feel."

Marston also noted that in the time before his death, his father, who died of sepsis, was showing signs of mental decline.
"We were close. He hugged me and said he loved me," Marston said of his father. "But my opinion is that he was not close or affectionate to most people.
"I lived next door. I visited. I played Backgammon every Sunday. There was a wall between him and everyone else, including me."

"We would play, and my dad would not know the moves to make. He knew Backgammon better than his ABCs. In my opinion, he was compromised. If he didn’t know where he was or what game he was playing, why was he changing his will?"
"People who used to visit weren’t visiting. He didn’t go down the stairs. It was a different atmosphere. He started going on pain medication because of his bad back.
"There was no restriction on how much medicine he could take. He was incoherent."
Hugh Hefner was buried to the immediate left of Marilyn Monroe in the Pierce Brothers Westwood Village Memorial Park and Mortuary in Los Angeles.
