Actor Jake Gyllenhaal has taken the UFC world by storm and shocked fans as he secured a brutal knockout victory - not just once, but twice this week.
Gyllenhaal, known for his award-winning performances in films like Donnie Darko and Brokeback Mountain, is currently working on a remake of the cult classic movie, Road House - an action flick that originally starred Patrick Swayze as a 'cooler' at a swanky roadside bar.
In the reboot, Gyllenhaal will be taking the place of Swayze and his character will be reimagined as a former UFC fighter.

Gyllenhaal, 42, was filming scenes for the new movie at the UFC 285 arena in Nevada at the weekend and left MMA fans stunned as he showcased his shredded physique.
At the weigh-in, he went head to head with one of his co-stars, slapping him and telling the commentator, Jon Anik that he was raring to go and ready to win.
“I can’t believe I trained six weeks for this s**t, to fight this piece of s**t. Just give me the belt now. C’mon, motherf**ker, let’s go,” Gyllenhaal yelled, clearly pumped up.

Fans were amazed as they then watched on whilst the actor filmed a scene for the upcoming film, conducting a full walkout to the ring before heading into the Octagon and seizing the knockout win against opponent, Jay Hieron, in a fictional middleweight match.
Hieron, who places Harris in the new Road House remake, was left annihilated by Gyllenhaal following a rather brutal flying knee kick which knocked him off his feet.
The fictional brawl was full of drama, with Gyllenhaal even going as far as pushing away the referee, continuing to lay blows into his opponent, when he attempted to step in and stop the fight.

Familiar UFC faces, including notorious announcer Bruce Buffer and MMA ref Chris Tognoni were also involved in making the faux fight seem as real as possible.
Even UFC star, Conor McGregor is set to make an appearance in the new movie as the film's main antagonist.
The Irish mixed martial artist was seen alongside Gyllenhaal over the weekend, taking to the mic to hype up fans and spur them into a frenzy ahead of the fight.
“Who’s ready for tomorrow night?” McGregor asked the already buzzing crowd.

“We have the biggest fight in Road House history, Harris vs. Dalton, UFC 222. Everyone in this arena, you’re about to be part of my movie.”
