Jamie Foxx remains in hospital in Georgia nearly a week after his daughter announced he had experienced a 'medical complication'.
The actor, 55, suffered the health issue when he was in Atlanta filming the Netflix movie Back in Action, in which he stars alongside Cameron Diaz.
His daughter Corinne took to Instagram the following day to share the news of her dad's wellbeing, addressing her statement to 'the Foxx family' and explaining that her dad had suffered a 'medical complication'.

Corinne didn't go into detail about the 'complication', but assured that 'due to quick action and great care', Foxx was 'already on his way to recovery'.
"We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers," she added. "The family asks for privacy during this time."
Corinne hasn't shared any updates since and Foxx himself has stayed quiet on his socials, but on Monday (17 April) a source with knowledge of his situation told CNN he was still in hospital.

News of Foxx's continued hospitalisation comes after the CNN source said on Friday that doctors were 'running tests and still trying to figure out what exactly happened'.
The individual explained that the incident did not happen on the set of Back in Action, and that Foxx was not transported to the hospital in an emergency vehicle.
Another person who has knowledge of the Netflix production told CNN on Friday filming is 'currently underway', and is expected to wrap this week.

It's unclear whether Foxx will be returning to the set after experiencing the medical complication.
UNILAD has reached out to Foxx's representatives for a comment.
His upcoming movie will be an action comedy featuring a star-studded cast, including Kyle Chandler, Glenn Close, McKenna Roberts, Rylan Jackson, Jamie Demetriou and Andrew Scott.
Foxx is working on the movie as a producer as well as a cast member, with Horrible Bosses' Seth Gordon directing.
