People are flooding to social media in bewilderment after Jared Leto was spotted climbing the outer walls of a hotel in Berlin.
The 51-year-old actor and musician - who apparently hasn't cried in 17 years - infamously played Spider-Man villain Morbius, but it appears he takes more after the webcrawler himself.
Why take the stairs when you can just take to the stone walls on the outside of the hotel and practice a bit of free-climbing?

Whatever floats your boat Leto, although we should probably say: Don't try this at home.
Images widely shared on social media show Leto taking to the stone walls of Hotel de Rome, Berlin.
He appears to be slowly making his way up the building, using the large rectangles of stone as holds.

However, the Morbius actor doesn't seem to have any sort of climbing gear on, harness, ropes or protection for his ascent.
Thankfully, another image reveals Leto really isn't that far off the ground.
Despite the fact he's not going to be cast as the next Spider-Man anytime soon - he suits Morbius better anyway - Leto still towers above a crowd of passers-by who've gathered underneath him to watch his climb.

After getting as high up as one of the hotel's windows, Leto can be seen in a photo having brought himself back down to the ledge, his rock-climbing excursion seemingly done for the day.
As well as having a crowd of people form around him, flocks of people have flooded to social media bewildered by Leto's climbing spree.
One Twitter user wrote: "Why tho."
"Well, seems like Jared Leto is taking his method acting to new heights," another added.

A third commented: "I was just watching alex honnold vids and he mentioned he’s gone free solo climbing with jared leto a few times now this lol."
"Bros taking Morbius a bit too seriously," a fourth said.
And a final resolved: "He's like five feet from the ground I'm cryin."

According to TMZ, Leto was shooting content at the hotel with TikTok influencer and modern-day illusionist Younes Zarou - known for his wild stunts - and so the climb could have been related to a project or some footage with him.
Or, perhaps Leto just fancied a bit of rock-climbing and couldn't be bothered to find the nearest centre, who knows.
