In case you weren't aware, Jason Derulo is a legend.
He's TikTok's favourite celebrity, his songs are undeniable dance floor fillers, and, when you least expect it, he'll do something outrageously kind like tip a waiter $5,000:
Jason, 33, and his family were out for dinner at Charleston's Restaurant in Omaha, Nebraska when he met waiter Jordan Schaffer.

The 'Wiggle' singer was so charmed by the student that, when it came time to pay the bill, he decided to tip Jordan $5,000, which Jordan says he's going to put toward his next semester at college.
A screenshot of Derulo's bill shows he was charged $759.99 - I know, but there were a lot of people sat at the table - which he then rounded up to exactly $5,759.99.
Shook at Jason's random act of kindness, Jordan then shared a video of the moment to TikTok.
"Jason Derulo tipped me $5,000 at Charlestons Restaurant in Omaha," he wrote in the video's text.

The clip then shows Jordan looking absolutely bewildered as he's handed the bill with Jason's amendments.
"My heart's beating really fast," he admits, while he does the calculations in his head.
"You guys are really awesome, man," Jason assures him.

The video then cuts to Jordan speaking into his front-facing camera, thanking Jason for his generosity.
"Hey Jason, thank you. You just paid for a semester at my college. I can't say thank you enough.
"I hope you and your family have a wonderful time in Omaha and I hope you see us again. Thank you so much."
He then showed viewers a photo of the receipt, telling them: "Dude, check it out! I can't believe this."

Jason re-shared Jordan's video to his own TikTok and Instagram accounts, captioning it: "Blessed to be a blessing."
Isn't that just the most wholesome thing?
Jordan, who was tagged in Jason's Instagram post, took to the comment section to once again thank the singer for his kindness.

"Thanks again Jason I’ll remember this for the rest of my life you really helped ease a lot of stress in my life god bless you and your family," he wrote.
The rest of Jason's comment section was flooded with love - a few people asking if he wants to come to their restaurant and spread his 'blessings' even further - and a general consensus that the 'Ridin' Solo' singer is an all-round good guy.
