Joe Rogan has revealed he previously said he felt MacKenzie Scott’s second husband had ‘zero chance’, having created a stand-up ‘bit’ about the topic before feeling too bad to use it publicly.
Scott, who is one of the richest women in the world, split up with Amazon entrepreneur and billionaire Jeff Bezos back in 2019, before marrying Dan Jewett in March 2021.
However, at the end of last month, it was announced that she had filed for divorce – which, according to The New York Times, Jewett did not contest.

In the latest episode of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Rogan told guest Greg Fitzsimmons that he had once written ‘a bit’ about Scott and Jewett’s relationship, but ended up bailing on it because it felt ‘mean and personal’.
Relaying the ‘bit’ to listeners, he explained: "She won $39 billion [£33.9bn] in the divorce settlement, and then she immediately married a high school science teacher. So the bit was about a woman worth $39 billion marrying a dude worth $3,200 [£2,832].
"Like, that guy doesn't have s**t to say in that relationship. That guy doesn't get to pick any of the colour of the walls.”

He continued: “The way I know is because I don't get to pick anything in my house, and my wife doesn't even work.
“That guy is f**ked! He has zero chance if she's that rich. That guy's on his best behaviour.”
Scott, 56, is reported to have a current net worth of $33.9bn (£29.5bn), after taking a four percent take in Bezos' company, Amazon, following their divorce.
Meanwhile, former teacher Jewett had left his job to join Scott's philanthropic efforts, having previously described Scott as 'one of the most generous and kind people’ he knew.

Sharing the premise of the rest of his bit, Rogan said: “I go, ‘He's got his pronouns in his Twitter bio, he's drinking white wine - that guy, he's neutered.
“I’m like, ‘That guy's a performance artist. He's putting on a show. He knows how much money she has.’
“I'm like, ‘How long can you be cool?’ Well, it turns out, 24 months."

Laughing, he added: "He couldn't keep it together. There's no way you can be yourself if your wife is worth $39 billion. It's just too hard to be yourself."
