Actor, producer and director Jon Favreau has officially received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Favreau has been an instrumental part of the film and TV industry for years, working across some of the biggest franchises in the business from Marvel to Star Wars to Friends.
Favreau's star is the 2,746th star to appear on the legendary Hollywood Walk of Fame.

At the ceremony, Favreau was joined by Marvel Cinematic Universe boss Kevin Feige, celebrity chef Roy Choi, and Robert Downey Jr - who spoke before the presentation.
The star, which was awarded in the category of television, can be found at 6840 Hollywood Boulevard, opposite the TCL Chinese Theatre.
Speaking to PA at the ceremony, Favreau commented: "People think of Hollywood as an industry town, which it is, but it's also a neighbourhood.

"It's also where we grew up, where we hung out, where we spent our time when we didn't have work.
"We hung out in these neighbourhoods and we felt like we were outsiders, you know?
"And to be part to be part of it as the next generation comes here really feels special and hopefully we inspire the next generation."
He continued: "In the States here, you grow up knowing - I'm sure around the world it's the same - what the Walk of Fame is and what the star is.

"And here it is! And I feel like I'm no longer and outsider, I feel like I'm part of it."
Favreau's most recent project was the five-episode docu-series Prehistoric Planet, narrated by David Attenborough on Apple TV.
In the world of Marvel, Favreau directed breakout MCU blockbuster hits Iron Man and Iron Man 2, and served as executive producer on The Avengers, Avengers: Age Of Ultron, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame - the latter going on to become the highest-grossing film of all time at the worldwide box office.

MCU fans also know him as bodyguard Happy Hogan, who appears in both the Iron Man and Spider-Man MCU films.
Over on Star Wars territory, Favreau works as a showrunner and executive producer of Disney+ series The Mandalorian and has served as executive producer and showrunner for The Book Of Boba Fett.
He's also executive producing the upcoming Star Wars series Ahsoka and Skeleton Crew.

He's also known for his appearances in films like Swingers, Daredevil, and The Break-Up, and his six-episode stint on hit sitcom Friends as Monica's millionaire boyfriend Pete.
After being awarded his star, Favreau said that he and his peers now had a 'responsibility to make sure it keeps going and that we bring in new storytellers and incorporate new technologies to keep it fresh'.
