Julia Fox has opened up about her struggles being neurodivergent, her mental health and one of her coping mechanisms.
The Uncut Gems star has taken to TikTok to speak out about her experiences living with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).
In a video posted on Friday (30 September), the 32-year-old model reflected on how navigating her career while being neurodivergent has been 'very difficult'.

ADHD is 'a condition that affects people's behaviour, people with ADHD can seem restless, may have trouble concentrating and may act on impulse,' according to the NHS.
The NHS also details that OCD is 'a common mental health condition where a person has obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviours'.

In a video recorded from a bathroom, Fox has revealed how having both of the conditions has affected her and how smoking weed has helped her cope.
In the video, Fox explains how she has 'bouts of great productivity where [she's] on top of the world' and feels like she is 'invincible'.
However, the actor also noted how she can also have 'moments of deep, deep, deep, stagnant type of feeling,' where she feels like she can't move.

She continued: "And I've never really talked about it, but ADHD is really tough. I have a little bit of OCD as well, which I just realised was OCD because I used to count the number of letters inside of words in my head and I used to always want them to reach to 10.
"And if I'm not smoking weed, I'm literally counting."
Fox explained how she finds the weed 'quietens down' her OCD.

However, it 'does not help with the productivity issue with the ADHD,' she added.
And having to cope with both at the same time? Fox says it's 'just too much'.
Followers have since flocked to Fox's post in support of the actor and to applaud the star for being so honest about her struggles.
