Uncut Gems actor Julia Fox urges parents to buy their children cleaning supplies rather than toys to help teach them life lessons ahead of adulthood.
Yesterday (Tuesday, August 23), the mother took to TikTok, notifying her followers that her 19-month-old son Valentino doesn’t care for his toys.
She says: “He is actually more interested in what I'm doing.

"So I suggest that everyone buy their kid a mini-mop and mini-broom and start teaching them those life skills really young, so when they enter the real world they don't have to outsource for everything. And they know how to do things for themselves. I think that's really important."
I mean, now that Kmart has launched a mini vlogger set for children aged three and up, I suppose the mini cleaning kit should be their next venture.
In the video, the Italian-born model also stated that she believes 'childhood' was a concept invented in the 18th century.

Julia added: "Prior to that, children were just regarded as little adults. That’s why in a lot of old paintings the children don’t look the same that we show them today, with the angelic features and all that stuff. They didn’t do that back then."
Maybe next year, she can even get Valentino to do her tax returns as a way to really shatter the image of ‘childhood’.
Of course, the actor’s remarks sent users into a frenzy, as one person wrote: “I’m a student at Julia Fox University.”
Another said: “Yessss to mini broom.”

A third person wrote: “We love a capitalist class labour relations conscious queen Marx and Engels could never.”
While another joked: “When my son was born the first outfit I gave him was nurses scrubs and he’s worked full time in the hospital ever since.”
Last month, Julia also made headlines after revealing via an Instagram post that she conceived her son on a New York rooftop.
In the 25-second shot intended to be a promotional video for fashion designer Sam Macer, Julia is seen walking with a long coat engulfed in flames. She captioned it: “My son was conceived on this rooftop. Anyway this stunning pyro coat is by @samxmacer.”
And like Macer's design, the comment section lit up as one person wrote: "The icon we both wanted and NEEDED."

While another said: "I could have went my whole life without knowing the first part".
