Kanye West has been criticised after 'using his daughter to get Kim Kardashian's attention' with his latest 'toxic' social media post.
Kardashian filed for divorce from West in February last year. Later in 2021, during an appearance on Saturday Night Live, she joked, 'I mean, I married the best rapper of all time. Not only that, he’s the richest Black man in America, a talented, legit genius, who gave me four incredible kids... so when I divorced him, you have to know it came down to just one thing: his personality.'
A month later, West claimed he hadn't seen the 'papers' and they weren't actually divorced. Meanwhile, he's been dating Uncut Gems star Julia Fox, and recently slammed Kardashian's parenting skills in Eazy, while Kardashian and Pete Davidson have grown closer as a result of her ex's 'erratic' behaviour.

In a new Instagram post today, February 4, West screenshotted a TikTok posted to Kardashian's account with their daughter North, writing, 'SINCE THIS IS MY FIRST DIVORCE I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO ABOUT MY DAUGHTER BEING PUT ON TIK TOK AGAINST MY WILL?'
Within less than 30 minutes, it was hit with more than 26,000 comments and shared onto Twitter, where fans and critics alike advised the rapper against similar posts. 'He shouldn’t be using his kids as a way to try and get Kim’s attention online like this is really becoming ridiculous,' one wrote.
'He has enough money to hire the top advisors in the world for this kind of situation and he’s asking the internet?' another tweeted. 'Posting your minor daughter’s TikTok username out for millions to see would be more against North’s will than yours don’t ya think?' a third wrote. 'Stop asking strangers on the internet for advice about your personal life & have a conversation in private. That would be a great start,' another suggested.
However, some have sided with West over his concerns. 'Is it bad that I kinda agree with him I haven’t had my first social medias since I was like 10 but as long as Kim is monitoring it I guess it’s not bad,' one wrote. 'This is completely justified. She’s six and that’s still her dad,' another wrote.

'I honestly think she's too young to be on any social media platform. The fact that she could log in her acc and give us a house tour and the only thing Kim said was 'you know you not allowed to be live' really had me questioning her parental skills,' a third wrote.
I think there's one thing we can all agree on: it's actually none of our business.
