The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has finally broken her silence during the 'scary week' that followed her husband's abrupt hospitalisation.
Travis Barker, 46, recently confirmed reports that he was suffering from 'life threatening pancreatitis'.
Taking to his Instagram yesterday (July 2nd), the Blink-182 drummer broke the silence over his hospitalisation.
The American musician wrote to his fans: "I went in for an endoscopy Monday feeling great. But after dinner, I developed excruciating pain and have been hospitalized ever since.
"During the endoscopy, I had a very small polyp removed, right in a very sensitive area, usually handled by specialists, which unfortunately damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube. This resulted severe life threatening pancreatitis.
"I am so very grateful that with intensive treatment I am currently much better."
This followed an alarming tweet captioned 'God save me', it's fair to say that many were worried - including Barker's wife of just a few months, Kourtney Kardashian.
Kourtney reposted her husband's Instagram stories and dutifully added in her own sensibilities.
The reality TV star began her statements referencing the 'scary and emotional week' the two newly weds had just been through.
She continued, revealing: "I am so grateful to God for healing my husband, for all of your prayers for him and for us, for the overwhelming outpouring of love and support. I am so touched and appreciative."
In the same Instagram story, Kourtney added more praise to the health professionals that helped the couple during the week: "I am so so thankful to our specialists, doctors, and nurses at Cedars Sinai for taking such wonderful care of my husband and me during our stay."
About an hour after she initially broke her silence on the 'scary and emotional' week, Kourtney followed up the story with a touching appreciation for Travis' improvement.
"It's crazy how sometimes words could never truly express the gratitude or feelings I have inside of me," she concluded.
Following on from the first two statements, the KUWTK star finally uploaded the story detailing the importance and weight of language and communication but, above all, love: "Language and voice carry energy but your heart is more powerful."
"What your heart and soul feel goes beyond a small combination of letters," she added.
Kourtney Kardashian then quoted poet Rumi with: "I closed my eyes and spoke with you in a thousand silent ways."
