Kylie Jenner is being warned her son's new name could mean 'penis' in Arabic

Kylie Jenner is being warned her son's new name could mean 'penis' in Arabic

People who speak Arabic have been left howling after the businesswoman finally revealed her boy's name.

Kylie Jenner is being warned by people who speak Arabic that her son's new name means something very naughty in their language when it's said phonetically.

The businesswoman took to Instagram to finally reveal the name of her son, who was born on February 6 last year.

Fans were told the newborn was named Wolf Jacques Webster, however that was only a placeholder until Kylie and her partner Travis Scott settled on something more permanent.

She's since revealed their second child is called Aire.

Kylie Jenner has revealed how to pronounce her new baby's name.

People quickly started asking how to pronounce the unique moniker, but rather than leaving them hanging, she replied in the comments section to say it's the same as 'air'.

While that's lovely for them, people who speak Arabic says the phonetic spelling of the name is a bit awkward.

Loads of fans have taken to Twitter to ask whether Kylie and Travis bounced the name Aire off with anyone else before settling on it.

When you pronounce it like 'air-eh' then it apparently means 'penis' in Arabic.

One person said: "Kylie Jenner is gonna fall on her knees and change her sons name once she sees what Arabic Twitter is saying."

Another added: "Ok but not me reading an article that Kylie Jenner named her son to what translates as 'my penis' in Arabic. Like this child won’t travel to Dubai or somewhere in the Middle East in his privileged life. Poor kid. Change it back to Wolf."

A third wrote: "If you’re ever having a bad day. Just think of the poor child of Kylie Jenner who renamed her son from Wolf to Aire announced earlier today - so then we find out in Arabic means my d**k. Poor kid."

However, plenty of people jumped to defend Kylie's decision, including this person, who said: "It’s not even the same spelling so what are y’all blabbing about?"

The newborn had the name Wolf for months but Kylie revealed to the world that it wasn't going to stay.

Back in March last year, Jenner took to Instagram to announce: "Fyi our son's name isn't Wolf anymore.

"We just really didn't feel like it was him.

"Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere."

It seems like the Kardashian clan is supportive of Kylie and Travis' new name.

Kris Jenner said: "I love you Aire Webster (alongside a heart emoji)."

Meanwhile, Khloe Kardashian wrote: "The king!!! Young king!!!!"
