Liam Neeson has opened up about his late wife Natasha Richardson, revealing that he talks to her grave every day.
Richardson sadly passed away at the age of 45 after a skiing accident in Quebec, Canada. She died at the Lenox Hill Hospital in New York on 18 March 2009.
Neeson, 70, had been married to the Parent Trap actress for 15 years. They have two sons together - Micheál Richardson, 27, and Daniel Neeson, 26.

Neeson previously described how he has kept Richardson's memory alive.
In a 2020 interview with Inquirer.net, the Taken actor said: "I speak to her everyday at her grave which is about a mile and half down the road.
"I go down there quite often, so I do speak to her as if she’s here. Not that she answers me."

He added: "I also speak to a couple of deceased actors that I knew years ago back in Ireland. Is that religious? I don’t know. I was brought up Catholic.
"But I certainly question death and life and is there an afterlife a lot more, not least because I’m now 68 years of age. I’m way past middle age."
In 2014, during an interview with Anderson Cooper for 60 Minutes, Neeson spoke about the devastating moment he saw his wife in the hospital.

"I went in and told her I loved her. I said, 'Sweetie, you’re not coming back from this. You’ve banged your head. It’s - I don’t know if you can hear me, but that's - this is what’s gone down,'" he said.
"'And we're bringing ya back to New York. All your family and friends will come.' And that was more or less it."
Also speaking about his mum's tragic death, her son Michéal - who was 13 at the time - told The Times that he's 'grateful' he can still watch her films.
"It was so sudden," he said. "When it's unexpected and it's just a complete freak accident, it really sort of messes with your mind, whether you believe in fate or not. It can send you for a bit of a head spin, and so you just latch on to the tiny little memories, whether it's her laugh or her energy in the room or her cooking.

"I do have her films to go back and watch her in, which I'm incredibly grateful for."
He also previously told PEOPLE that his favourite movie of his mum's is The Parent Trap.
"I just see her so much as that person," he said.

"I'm so lucky too, because she's passed away, I can still watch her and see how she worked and also it's a great thing to have... And I do [watch her movies], but there's still a lot there I need to watch."
