Officials have allegedly charged five people in connection with Liam Payne’s death, including hotel staff and one of his friends.
In October, it was reported that the former One Direction singer had died while staying at the CasaSur Palemero hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
It’s understood the 31-year-old and his girlfriend Kate Cassidy, 25, had originally been in the country to support and visit his ex-bandmate Niall Horan, 31, who was on tour at the time.
Payne, who was staying on the third floor of the up-market establishment, is thought to have fallen from his balcony - which looked into the hotel’s interior courtyard - at around 17:07 local time (21:07 BST).

A post-mortem examination later reported he died of ‘multiple traumas’ and ‘internal and external haemorrhage’.
On Sunday (December 29), local outlet Infobae alleged that officers investigating the incident had charged five people, one of whom is Rogelio ‘Roger’ Nores, an alleged friend of Payne.
News.com.au reports that Nores left the singer at the hotel around an hour before he fell to his death on October 16.

It’s unknown whether Nores has been taken into custody by police, but it is reported that he has been charged with negligent homicide and is prohibited from leaving the country, as per Metro.
Gilda Martin and Esteban Grassi, two hotel managers, have reportedly been charged with manslaughter.
Waiter Braian Paiz and hotel employee Ezequiel Pereyra have both been accused of supplying Payne drugs, the publication also claims.
UNILAD has contacted International Criminal Police Organization and Argentina IPA for comment.

Nores has previously denied claims that he was involved in the former X Factor star’s death.
Speaking to TMZ's documentary, TMZ Presents: Liam Payne: Who's to Blame, Nores claimed that Payne had been ‘in good spirits and perfectly balanced’ before his death.
In a statement, he said (via E! News): “I went to his hotel three times that day and left 40 minutes before this happened. I could have never imagined something like this would happen.”

“I haven’t spoken to any police officer or prosecutor ever since,” he continued, adding that he was ‘heartbroken with this tragedy’ before saying he was ‘missing’ his friend ‘every day’.
In November, it was reported that three people had been detained and one person's home had been raided by police in connection with Payne's death, with the public prosecutors office stating that one of the suspects was 'the person who accompanied the artist on a daily basis during his stay in the city of Buenos Aires', while the other two were a hotel employee and an alleged 'drug supplier'.
In November, Payne’s remains were flown back to the UK, with a private funeral taking place at St Mary's Church in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, England, northwest of London.
Payne’s former One Direction bandmates Horan, Harry Styles, 30, Zayn Malik, 31, and Louis Tomlinson, 33, were in attendance.
