Lily-Rose Depp has called her girlfriend 070 Shake the 'love of my life' in a birthday tribute post.

The 24-year-old took to Instagram to share the romantic message to her girlfriend 070 Shake, real name Danielle Balbuena, on Tuesday (13 June).

The happy couple first made their relationship official back in May.

The romance confirmation came just a matter of months after dating rumors between the pair first started circulating when they were seen getting cosy at Paris Fashion Week in February.

In the reveal, Depp, star of HBO's latest series The Idol, opened up about how long she and the musician had actually been dating after celebrating a significant milestone together.

She uploaded a cute snap of her and Shake, who also goes by Dani Moon, embracing in each other's arms and sharing a heartfelt smooch.

The pair have been dating nearly half a year now.

The overlay text on the Instagram story post read: "4 MONTHS W [with] MY CRUSH."

Shake likewise reciprocated the gesture and uploaded a close-up picture of the pair together to her Instagram Story.

Since then, Depp shared with her eight million followers the latest update on her new relationship.

She uploaded four pictures, captioning the first image: "Happy birthday, love of my life."

The pair can be seen posing for a mirror selfie with Shake wrapping her arm around Depp.

Another photo shows Depp caressing the rapper's face and she appeared to smoke a cigarette with some pretty groovy shades on.

Another snap sees the 'Guilty Conscience' hit-maker holding Depp's feet with the final picture showing the cute couple kissing.

Depp captioned the sweet picture 'Te amo Dani' with a red rose emoji.

It's been a pretty jam-packed year for Depp, daughter of Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp and French singer Vanessa Paradis, following her latest project in Hollywood.

The model-turned-actor stars as Jocelyn in The Idol - a character who she says is inspired by iconic pop divas of the past.

Depp is joined by a star-studded cast including singer Troye Sivan, Bodies Bodies Bodies actor Rachel Sennott and rapper The Weeknd, who co-created the show alongside Reza Fahim and Euphoria's Sam Levinson.

The first episode of the all-new drama series aired earlier this month (4 June).

The Idol is currently available to watch on HBO and Sky Atlantic.
