Margot Robbie is known now for being one of Hollywood's biggest stars, but when she was just a teenager she says she was actually offered a job working at a Hooters restaurant.
The actor might never have appeared in the likes of The Wolf of Wall Street, Suicide Squad or Babylon if she'd taken the job, and it all stemmed from her efforts to pursue her career on screen.

Robbie recalled the offer when she was asked about acting roles or extras work her fans might not know she'd taken on before she became the huge star she is today.
She explained that when she was a teenager, she appeared in a commercial for the chain Hooters in Australia. Anyone who's ever heard of Hooters will probably know that the restaurant is known for it scantily-clad employees, but Robbie didn't appear in the advert as a member of staff.
The 32-year-old recalled: “I was in a Hooters commercial, not as a Hooters girl but as someone eating at Hooters."

She wasn't paid for the job, but she was later offered the opportunity to make some money thanks to her appearance.
Speaking to NME, Robbie continued: “At the end of the day, they offered me a job and I was like, ‘I think this is where my career is going and I’m going to end up working at Hooters. That's cool'."
Obviously there's absolutely nothing wrong with working at Hooters - the restaurant and its staff provide people with good food and happiness every day, but when you've got your sights set on Hollywood, any 'regular' job is going to seem unattractive.
Hear her recall the story below:
Thankfully for Robbie, it wasn't long before her career started to pick up speed as she was cast on the soap opera Neighbours when she was 17 years old.

She was initially cast in a guest role as a schoolgirl named Donna Freedman, but she obviously impressed with her performance as she was later promoted to the main cast of the show.
Fast-forward a decade or so, and Robbie is now starring among some of the world's biggest names.
Her most recent performance comes in Damien Chazelle's Babylon, where she stars alongside Brad Pitt as struggling actor Nellie LaRoy, who is determined to make it to the big time.
Her journey involves a lot of parties and a lot of cocaine, but, unlike Robbie, it doesn't involve any making adverts for Hooters.
