A streaker who has stripped down for some of the world’s most prolific sporting events has revealed that he was prepared to take a bullet at the Super Bowl.

Mark Roberts has appeared at the likes of Crufts, where he wrote ‘Pedigree Bum’ across his bare backside, to the Olympics and a UEFA Champions League final.

Speaking on the Leg It Podcast, Mark dished the dirt on his history as streaker, which has even seen him rub shoulders with the likes of Stevie Wonder and P Diddy.

It all began when Mark was working at a bar in Hong Kong during the Rugby 7s competition.

During one of the matches, a woman entered the field of play, which got Mark thinking.

After enjoying a couple of drinks, he claimed that he could do the same, and committed to running on the pitch the following day.

Despite his persistent hangover, Mark stuck to his word and invaded the pitch – even scoring a try against the All-Blacks.

He had enjoyed the experience so much that he committed to streaking for the rest of his life.

“The fans I could see closest, it made me feel f**king great, I’ve made their f**king day,” he added.

The now-57-year-old went on to infiltrate some of the world’s biggest events, reaching a pinnacle when he endeavoured to invade the Superbowl XXXVIII pitch wearing a referee uniform in 2004.

“It took nearly a whole year to plan this,” he began, explaining how he had applied for an official NFL referee’s outfit, which he then fitted with Velcro strips for easy removal.

Prior to the event, Mark even grew concerned that he may be shot on site for his antics.

He said: “It was not long after 9/11, there’s going to be snipers on the roof.

"I thought, If I get on and someone takes a shot at me, they’re not going to shoot to kill, they’re going to shoot to maim. And, gospel truth, I’d have taken a bullet to the leg, just to do the Super Bowl."

However, Mark was able to run onto the pitch, yank off his referee uniform and parade nude, with just a miniature American football covering his modesty.

“I was on there for nearly a whole minute doing all these mad moves,” he laughed, admitting that he was thrown to the floor by one of the footballers shortly after.
