Mia Khalifa was swerved as she handed out signed copies of her latest magazine cover.
The former adult film star took to Instagram to share her excitement over her new photoshoot, explaining that she had a 'blast' bringing the cover to life - only to be rejected by a member of the public when she tried to hand out the issue.

While most opt for champagne and a fancy dinner, others decide to hand out issues like a true hero - Mia did both, just FYI.
As her latest Instagram post explained: "I’m trying to find the words to express my excitement over this… my first cover and to have it with a publication with a team like @jayxbest and @monichatully just makes it that much better. Thank you so much for not just the opportunity, but for taking the time to speak to me and understand me. I had such a blast chatting sh*t with these two, and I’m so happy that I left this experience with two new friends. So surreal."
Mia shared clips of the shoot, snaps from her birthday and even proceeded to hand out issues of the cover.

Except as she approached one member of the public, they seemed to decline her offer.
Still, Mia took the whole thing in her stride.
The incident comes off the back of comments she made on the late-night talk show Ziwe, hosted by Ziwe Fumudoh.

While appearing on the show, Mia said it's 'worse' to sell your body to the army than OnlyFans.
The topic came up when Ziwe said: "So we have OnlyFans, and then we have the sex work industry, and then we have like actors.
"Is there a difference between these industries or are we all fundamentally selling out bodies in some way?"

Khalifa replied: "Honestly, I think that selling your body, like if we are going by that definition, being in the army is worse than being on OnlyFans. You're selling your body to the government."
Her statement prompted the host to reply: “Wow.”
The clip has since been shared on TikTok, where it’s picked up more than 270,000 likes and has sparked a lively discussion.
One TikTok user wrote: “I mean… where’s the lie?” While another said: "She's onto something."

Others disagreed with Khalifa’s take, writing: “Service to our country is NOT shameful.”
