The Morning Hustle has responded after 'corny kid' Michael B. Jordan's former classmate was called out on the red carpet by the actor and director.
It must be great to be Michael B. Jordan - you'd be a talented actor who everyone loves and you'd right now be celebrating the successful release of Creed III, a movie you directed and had the leading role in.
However, on the red carpet of the movie's premiere in Atlanta the celebrated actor ended up calling out a former classmate who was interviewing him after he thought she used to call him 'corny'.
Jordan was stopped for a chat by Lore'l, the host of The Morning Hustle and The Undressing Room Podcast, who told her audience 'you know we know each other, we go way back' and reminisced about their school days in Newark, New Jersey.

Jordan responded by saying he was 'the corny kid, right?', though Lore'l denied being the one who called him that and said she was 'misquoted for sure'.
The actor was sure he 'heard it', but now The Morning Hustle has put out some extra info confirming that it was actually someone else who called him 'corny'.
They claimed to 'have the receipts' to defend Lore'l and explained that she wasn't the one who'd made the comments the actor had heard.

The one who actually called Jordan 'corny' was Dominique Da Diva, the former co-host of The Undressing Room Podcast who made the comments during the podcast's 'Cry Me A River' episode.
Back in the episode, which was released in 2021, they'd said: "You know what I really think deep down inside? I think that Michael B. Jordan is a nice, corny guy, and I don’t mean that as a slight."
Lore'l didn't call the actor corny, but did reveal that his classmates at school teased him for his name and bringing his acting headshots into school.

They hope this'll clear up any confusion about who called who 'corny', while Michael B. Jordan can continue enjoying some well-earned success from Creed III.
The movie continues the Rocky spin-off series following Jordan's Adonis Creed, the secret son of Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers) who boxes his way to fame and success and carves out his own reputation.
In the latest movie Jordan is back as Adonis and has moved on from Rocky (Sylvester Stallone) when a new up-and-coming boxer (Jonathan Majors) with a connection to Donnie's past rises to challenge the champ.
Creed III releases in cinemas on 3 March.
