MrBeast has responded to backlash online after he tipped a waitress with a brand new car that was covered in advertisements.
The YouTube star, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, is well-known by now for his large-scale acts of kindness, but his latest stunt got quite a bit of hate from viewers. So he decided to set the record straight:
In his latest video, Donaldson surprised a waitress named Amy with her very own car to help her get to and from work.

“Amy’s been getting to work without a car for months," he told viewers in a video posted to Instagram and TikTok. "Thanks to you we changed that.”
He then added in the comment section: “Buy more @feastables bars so I can give away more cars like this.”
That's because the car that Amy received was paid for with the revenue that MrBeast makes from his chocolate bar brand.
To really drive that point home, the car was decked out with massive Feastables stickers across the bonnet and doors.

Still, Amy seemed overjoyed with her new car, and started tearing up when she realised what was happening.
“I was literally late to work today because the Uber was slow,” she said.
“I’m in such shock right now. I don’t even know how to drive.”

Despite the sweet act, MrBeast got heavy backlash from viewers for essentially turning Amy into a 'driving advertisement'.
One fan wrote on Twitter: "Love MrBeast but he gave her a car with an ad on it ahahahahahhaahahahshsh."
Another commented on TikTok: “MrBeast you can do better than that. Why wrap it like that? I’ve seen you give away plenty [of] non branded stuff.”
Eventually, the YouTube star hit back at the backlash with an unseen clip from that day.

In the clip, Donaldson tells Amy: "Enjoy the car! You can get rid of the logo too."
But Amy replies: "It's kinda cool! It's kinda giving a little bit, isn't it?"
Delighted with this outcome, MrBeast claps his hands together and says: "All right! I agree."

The clip ends as Amy tells him: "I think I'm gonna keep it."
Still, MrBeast assured viewers in the caption: "We ended up taking the logo off anyways."
So haters can now rest easy knowing that MrBeast did not make this waitress drive his advertisements around for him, and this was simply another good deed.
Back to business as usual!
