New footage has emerged of Jada Pinkett Smith reacting to her husband Will Smith slapping Chris Rock across the face at the Oscars.
No one could have foreseen what was to come at this year's Oscars ceremony in what was arguably the most shocking moment in the history of the Academy Awards.
Now, a new angle of the infamous incident has emerged, which you can watch below.
In case you missed it, here's a quick recap; Will Smith 'slapped the s**t' out of Chris Rock after the comedian made a joke about Jada's hair – a result a alopecia. Rock joked: "Jada, I love you. G.I. Jane 2, can’t wait to see you."

At first, Smith appeared to laugh it off while Pinkett Smith rolled her eyes, but then he walked onto the stage and slapped the comedian.
However, in the new footage, we can see a different angle to Pinkett Smith's reaction.
As Will walks off stage after hitting Rock, the seemingly stunned comedian says: "Oh wow... wow. Will Smith just smacked the s**t out of me."

The new clip shows Jada appearing to laugh at Rock's reaction. That was until Will angrily replied to the comment, shouting: "Keep my wife's name out your f***ing mouth!"
The whole room then became erringly silent. Rock replied: "Wow, dude, it was a G.I. Jane joke!"
Smith once again yelled: "Keep my wife's name out your f***ing mouth!"
Will has since released a formal apology to Rock and the Academy. He wrote on Instagram: "Violence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive. My behaviour at last night’s Academy Awards was unacceptable and inexcusable.
"Jokes at my expense are a part of the job, but a joke about Jada’s medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally.

"I would like to publicly apologise to you, Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong. I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be. There is no place for violence in a world of love and kindness.
"I would also like to apologise to the Academy, the producers of the show, all the attendees and everyone watching around the world. I would like to apologise to the Williams Family and my King Richard Family. I deeply regret that my behaviour has stained what has been an otherwise gorgeous journey for all of us.
"I am a work in progress."
Jada also broke her silence after the event, taking to Instagram to post a message that read: "This is the season for healing and I'm here for it."
