Billie Eilish is laughing at how gullible everyone on the internet has become.

The 21-year-old updated her hair weeks ago by getting bright red roots in her jet black strands.

But the singer went viral recently after a selfie was posted on social media showing a very different hairdo.

People couldn't believe their eyes when they saw what looked more like a weather map than a hairstyle.

Her hair had transformed slightly so that coming out of the red roots were orange and green strands.

They flocked to social media to make the same joke.

"Look, it looks like the weather forecast on the map of Brazil, Minas is on fire there, huh?" one person joked.

Another added: "Today’s weather report."

A third remarked: "It looks like the center of a storm! On a radar system."

While the Gymshark Twitter account penned: "POV: watching storm Ciaran arrive in the UK."

However, she's finally responded to all the punchlines being lobbed her way.

She reposted an article about the bizarre hairdo and said 'y'all just be making shit up'.

At this point you might be scratching your head, but it turns out the picture that went viral on social media was completely made up.

People were pretty shocked to find out the photo was edited.

"Wait why I actually thought her hair was like that..." said one viewer.

Another wrote: "Like she wouldn't wear something like that."

A third added: "I mean Billie is like the queen of colorful hair so I’d believe it if it was real. (It also actually looks sick, all jokes aside)."

It came hot off her debuting her new full back tattoo.

The design appeared to be all black and while the photo isn't very clear, it just seemed to be a cool drawing.

After finally debuting the whole tattoo, fans were left a little divided.

Some thought it was iconic, with one person writing: "Without words, this is incredible."

While others weren't as convinced. "Looks like an injury," said one viewer.

Another said: "Why is it so messy."
