Over 20 years on from dating her, Britney Spears' high school boyfriend still has her back.
In the wake of her tell-all memoir hitting shelves in recent days, Donald “Reg” Jones - who dated the star for two years in the 90s - has shared his thoughts.
The book, titled The Woman In Me, shares a host of bombshell revelations about Spears' life; including how she reportedly had an abortion while dating Justin Timberlake.
In her book, she wrote: "It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn’t a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day.

"This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated.
"But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young."
Timberlake hasn't publicly commented on the matter and appears to be keeping a low profile since the book's release, even turning off his comments on Instagram.
And people have had a lot to say about Spears' allegations; her ex boyfriend Jones included.

Jones and Spears dated from 1996 to 1998, after the songstress left The Mickey Mouse Club.
Speaking about Spears having an abortion, while dating the 'Sexyback' singer, Jones told New York Post: "Any man that is gonna ask a woman to have an abortion? Then he is a piece of sh*t in my book."
He also urged Timberlake to 'f**king man up'.

In his conversation with the publication, 45-year-old Jones - who is currently single - also claimed that Spears 'didn't want to go do Hollywood'.
He said: "She’d been there dancing, singing long enough. And she was just wanting to be normal and live a normal life and go to high school, and stay dating me I guess. Whatever."
Jones added: "But as far as the Hollywood, that crap? Look at the road it took her down. My heart goes out to her."

Jones also had things to say about Spears' mom, Lynn Spears, and claimed that she was the reason he and the 'Lucky' singer had split back in 1998.
In light of the hardships Spears has faced since making the big time, he suggested she moves back to Mississippi; not only to return to her roots, but so that she can be with him again.
"I would just be ears for her and make her laugh," Jones insisted.
