A GoFundMe set up by his sister Peyton said that Caleb then 'fell onto lava rock' and had to be airlifted to hospital.
His family set up the fundraiser which is aiming to raise $100,000 because Caleb did not have medical insurance and they say they cannot afford the bills associated with treating his serious injuries.
Speaking from his hospital bed, Caleb posted a TikTok updating his millions of fans on his condition and thanking them for all their support.

"I wanted to let you guys know a little update, I just found out that my neck and spine is not broken. Thank you so much God, I just want everybody to know that anyone who is supporting me, I really appreciate you guys and I'm doing my best to get better."
"I just want to give the biggest thank you to God, honestly you guys, because this is not the first time I almost died in my life. When I was younger I had severe seizures."
Caleb went on to say that he 'almost died' in the fall and 'can't even fathom' the height from which he dropped, telling his fans: "I don't even remember, I just woke up and I thought I was gonna die."

Caleb's dad Jason took to Instagram to thank Jesus for his son's survival from the terrifying plunge and to let people know that Caleb was 'stable, conscious, talking, and in good spirits'.
Running through the list of injuries Caleb suffered, Jason said his son had a small break in his neck but still had full motion in his limbs, had needed a rod through his femur, had two plates and 10 screws put into his right elbow, fractured his left wrist and needed stitches for a number of head injuries.
Peyton said her brother also had 'multiple gouges and burns throughout his entire body'.
