There are all sorts of ways to try and get your name out there, but it doesn't always require your family's help.
Sure, it's nice to know you have their support, and if they have a useful contact maybe they could put in a good word - but there's a time and a place, and a lot of people have argued that promoting an OnlyFans account isn't one of them.
The discussion about making an OnlyFans promo into a family affair came about after model Camilla Araujo shared a video in which she asked her brother about her OF career.

In the clip, Araujo can be seen holding her phone as she stands next to her younger sibling and asks him: "How does it feel to have a sister that has an OF?"
To which her brother replies: "My friends always ask me if it's pink, but I don't really know what they mean by that. Do you?"
I don't know whether I'm hoping it's a staged response or not - it doesn't really make it better either way.
But whether or not she knew what was coming, Araujo looked visibly stunned and replied: "Oh, Jesus Christ. Click then link in my bio, I, I just can't."

Araujo then left, marking the end of the clip - but certainly not the end of the story.
Since the promo was shared to her social channels, Araujo was met with some heat online.
Tonnes of people took to Twitter to share their shock at the stunt, which they claimed was a bit too far.

"The girl from MrBeast’s squid games started an OF and got her own brother to help promote it," wrote one critic. "Wtf is this s**t?"
Another commented: "Wtf did i just watch… "
"This is actually f**ked up to film with your brother," put a third.
While someone else added: "Yeah bro is gonna get bullied everyday bro."

After seeing how people reacted to the scene, Araujo posted a response to the criticism she received.
In another video shared on her Instagram account, the OF model shared concerns about her brother after the wave of backlash.
She shared an image of one the posts from a critic, and explained: "So this tweet's going viral on Twitter right now, so I figured I'd call my brother and just check on him, see how he's doing.

"It's not looking too good, so... "
Needless to say, her younger sibling did not look too happy with the attention he was getting in the aftermath of the video.
Seen sitting in his bedroom playing a console, he told Araujo: "Honestly, I don't even wanna f**king hear from you anymore.
"I'm blowing up on Twitter, I'm fighting for my life in my group chat, and so I better see myself in Disneyland by tonight, all right? I f**king hate you."
Not one to miss out on an opportunity, Araujo then looked to the camera, and said: "Click the link in my bio so I can take my brother to Disneyland."
