Celebrity memoirs certainly provide a lot of juicy gossip, and Cher's newest book is certainly no exception.
Part one of the singer's tell-all wll be released next week, with a second part to follow in the new year.
"After more than 70 years of fighting to live her life on her own terms, Cher finally reveals her true story in intimate detail, in a two-part memoir,” the publisher said.

"With her trademark honesty and humor, Cher: The Memoir traces how this diamond in the rough succeeded with no plan and little confidence to become the trailblazing superstar the world has been unable to ignore for more than half a century."
During one segment of the book, Cher spoke about going to the Playboy mansion for a 'movie night', with fellow singer, John Lennon, in attendance.
The evening was said to have cocktails and other beverages available, which led to Cher getting 'drunker than I thought'.

"Giggling and falling over each other, John and Harry [Nillson] followed me out into the grounds. Seating them inside the notorious Grotto - it was like a massive cave that one end of the swimming pool extended into - I went to fetch a drink, and when I returned they were standing in the middle of the Grotto naked but still submerged in the water, thank god," Cher recalled.
"It took me ages to get them back in their clothes. It was like herding drunks," she added.
Cher has taken her time writing the new memoir to ensure stories are being told in a precise and appropriate way.
The singer admitted the process of writing it was difficult, as she told the Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show last year: "I just totally chickened out. I didn’t put in some things that need to be in, and they’re not comfortable.

"But they need to be put in, so I have to go back and man up."
Earlier this year, Cher reflected on her career and personal life in an interview with fellow singer Jennifer Hudson on The Jennifer Hudson Show.
Cher also touched on typically being with younger men.

"The reason I got with younger men is because men my age are older - well, now they're all dead but - before they just never, they were always terrified to approach me and younger men were the only ones," she explained.
