Some actors will go above any beyond for their movie roles, so much so you can barely recognise them.
In recent days, fans were given a first look at Dwayne Johnson taking on the role of Mark Kerr in his upcoming movie - and had you not been told it was him, there's a good chance you'd have never known.
Now, in the wake of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga hitting cinemas last week, Chris Hemsworth gave film fans a glimpse at what early stage make up tests looked like for him.
For anyone who has seen the promo (or the film itself) with Hemsworth in it, you'll know his character Dr. Dementus looks nothing like the Australian actor - aside from his ripped physique.

Hemsworth even sports prosthetic teeth for the role, and recently showed fans some he tried on when production began.
In the clip shared to Instagram yesterday (May 21), the 40-year-old was seen wearing overly large front prosthetic teeth that could only be described as rabbit-like.
"Nah, they're way too big," Hemsworth laughs in the video. "I can't speak either. They don't really fit."
The rest of the room also chuckled at the actor's expense.

Hemsworth captioned the comical clip: "Early stage makeup tests for Dr Dementus were a lotta fun."
While his transformation will have taken quite some time to achieve, Hemsworth admitted that it helped him really get into the role.
"The nose, the beard, the kind of wig, all the prosthetics and the costume, everything was just, look - any of that helps you get out the way of yourself," he explained to MovieMaker.

"The more you can cut loose of yourself and be completely taken on a journey through what the hair and makeup, costume, the sets, have to offer - it makes your job so much easier."
Hemsworth went on: "Look at these costumes, look at these sets. We just gotta not screw up our lines now and not get in the way of it all.
"So it was like an another prop, all of it. And when I would look in the mirror, I’d go, 'I don’t see myself anymore. This is a great thing'.

"So then you start to think differently, start reacting differently, and there’s a knock on effect to that."
Furiosa has so far been well received by critics and boasts an 87 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes' Tomatometer.
