Chris Pratt has said he has a very simple reason why he doesn’t take photos with his fans anymore.

When people meet celebrities they are quick to ask for a photo. It seems pretty standard behavior now since fans have stopped asking for

But actor Chris Pratt has previously explained why he isn’t exactly fond of the trend.

Not that he wishes people asked for his autograph instead.

Speaking to US Weekly in 2017, the actor opened up on the reality of fame following his rise to stardom, where he highlighted how it is 'tough sometimes' in reference to the attention.

Pratt, who wasn’t always known as the loveable goof that he is today has said he does miss being unknown to people that meet him.

He said: “It’s tough sometimes, the amount of management you need to do on things you used to do spontaneously. What I really miss is sitting down and talking to strangers who don’t know me, so we can discover each other.

“I’d say the majority of people I meet have an idea about me before they meet me. There’s something nice to being able to surprise somebody.”

However, while being appreciative of his many fans he also explained why he isn’t that big on grabbing photos with them. The actor said he would consider himself more of a ‘go with the flow’ kind of person but has had to adjust since becoming an A-lister.

“If I go out and want to do normal things, I have to be comfortable disappointing people. So I just don’t take pictures with people,” he added.

“Because that’s not about enjoying the moment; it’s about stealing the moment to brag about later. So I say, ‘Would you settle for a handshake?’ And then they take the picture anyway.”

While he is likely used to his star power now, I mean the man is basically everywhere, but in 2017, he also recalled how he wasn’t quite used to rubbing shoulders with other stars.

“There was this moment when I was at a party and Barbra Streisand and Jim Carrey both came up to me to tell me they loved what I’d done,” he said.

“Streisand asked me, ‘How does it feel? You’re this year’s big thing.’ Jim Carrey told me the same thing. That was when those people stopped being my icons and became my peers.”
