David Beckham has seemingly attempted to cut through the noise of gossip to send an emotional New Year's message to his son, Brooklyn, after he allegedly blocked his parents on Instagram.

Reports of a feud between David and Victoria Beckham and their eldest son, Brooklyn, have been swirling for months, with the family not having been pictured in full together since the Christmas holidays in 2024.

The 26-year-old, who is married to Nicola Peltz, was noticeably absent from David's 50th birthday party earlier in 2025, and internet sleuths soon realized that he no longer follows either of his parents on Instagram.

When speculation surfaced that David and Victoria may have unfollowed Brooklyn, another of their children, Cruz Beckham, claimed they had actually been blocked.

"NOT TRUE," he wrote. "My mum and dad would never unfollow their son.. Let's get the facts right. They woke up blocked... as did I."

David raised eyebrows again this week when he shared a 2025 roundup full of photos of friends and family, but Brooklyn was not featured in the post.

However, the father now appears to have rectified that decision as he took to his Instagram story to share photos of all of his children, including an old snap featuring just him and Brooklyn.

The black and white photo features third in the series of photos, which begins with the words: "I'm so grateful for my family I love you all."

"I'm so lucky to have my amazing family," David continues, before writing on the photo of him and Brooklyn: "I love you all so much."

David then adds: "I'm a very lucky Daddy."

The footballer rounded off his New Year's Story with an old photo of Victoria with all of the kids, writing: "You are my life. I love you all, love Daddy x On to 2026."

While David didn't feature Brooklyn in the 2025 post on his Instagram feed, he did allude to all of his children in the caption, in which he said he was 'very lucky to have had the year [he's] had in 2025 full of moments that [he] will never forget'.

"From my 50th to my knighthood (still pinching myself) and then finishing with winning the MLS as an owner, I'm so grateful to my incredible wife, my amazing children, my friends and team I work with every single day nothing would have been possible without you all...," he wrote.
