Eminem's mother Debbie Nelson has died at the age of 69.
A rep for Eminem has confirmed the news to both People and TMZ.
She died on 2 December from complications related to lung cancer.

Born in 1955, Debbie grew up in a 'large dysfunctional family', according to her 2008 memoir, My Son Marshall, My Son Eminem. She married at the age of 16 and two years later in 1972, welcomed the 'Slim Shady' rapper.
Eminem and his mother have famously not got along, with many of their disputes being in the public eye since the rapper rose to fame more than 25 years ago.
In 2022 though, Debbie had seemingly put her feud with her son aside to congratulate him on his achievement of being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

In a video posted to social media, Debbie applauded her son's achievement.
She said: "Marshall, I want to say, I could not let this day go by without congratulating you on your induction into the Hall of Fame. I love you very much. I knew you'd get there. It's been a long ride. I'm very, very proud of you."
Speaking at the 37th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, Eminem said: "I realise what an honour it is right now for me to be up here tonight, and what a privilege it is to do the music that I love, and the music that basically saved my life.
"So, I'm probably not supposed to actually be here tonight because of a couple of reasons. One of them that I'm a rapper, and this is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

"And there's only a few of us right now that have been inducted in already, but there's only a few of us."
Prior to this achievement for Eminem, it's fair to say the rapper and Debbie didn't have the best relationship.
In one of Eminem's songs, the rapper claimed his mother did 'more dope than' he did, which led to Debbie suing him by claiming defamation of character.

The lawsuit concluded with Debbie receiving $25,000 - but most of it went to her lawyers.
News of Debbie's illness was first reported by multiple outlets in September, with TMZ being the first outlet to report the news of her death.
