Dolph Lundgren has revealed there 'are no cancer cells' in his body anymore after being diagnosed with kidney cancer seven years ago.
The Rocky IV star - full name Hans 'Dolph' Lundgren - was diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2015 and given a terminal diagnosis, told by doctors at the time he only had 'two to three years to live'.
However, the actor has since opened up about the 'rough ride' and provided an encouraging update on his health.
The 67-year-old underwent surgery when doctors first discovered he had cancer and his prognosis seemingly improved.

However, in 2020, after experiencing acid reflux, the actor and filmmaker went for an MRI, which revealed there were 'a few more tumors' in his abdominal area.
Lundgren's doctor told him to take a break from work and spend more time with family ,and the martial artist knew it was serious.
Lundgren said on In Depth with Graham Bensinger: "I think he said two to three years, but I could tell in his voice that he probably thought it was less. I thought it was it for sure."
However, in a post to Instagram shared yesterday (November 27), Lundgren has since revealed he is 'finally cancer-free'.

In the video he says: "Here I am at UCLA, I’m about to go in and get rid of that last tumor. Since there are no cancer cells in my body anymore, I guess I’ll be cancer-free so I’m looking forward to this procedure.
"[...] It’s been a rough ride and really taught me how to live in the moment and enjoy every moment of life. I mean, it’s the only way to go. Alright, they're coming to get me, see you."
The caption adds: "Health update - finally cancer free with gratefulness and excitement for a bright future. Thanks for all your support always."

Scott Adkins, also a martial artist and actor, said: "Health & happiness to you and your family Dolph. I will never forget when we shot Castle Falls and you directed and starred whilst also dealing with this and you never made a fuss of it, never even mentioned it but got your head down and did the work regardless of all you were dealing. You are a true warrior my friend."
