Fans say Dua Lipa looks 'unrecognizable' after debuting new look in photo shoot

Fans have been wowed by Dua Lipa as the singer songwriter showed off a stunning new look in a photoshoot.

Dua Lipa is no stranger to bold looks - she couldn't actually sit down in the outfit she wore to the Golden Globes this year.

For her latest shoot, the musician was photographed by Collier Schorr for Beauty Papers magazine.

The pictures saw the singer making a marked departure from her usual look.

Fans were so gobsmacked by the stunning photoshoot that they could barely even recognise Dua Lipa as the person in the photos.

And to be fair, the star does look completely different.

The shoot was posted to Beauty Papers magazine's TikTok page, with a short clip showing off the star's look.

It was part of a special edition of the magazine with Dua Lipa featuring on the edition's cover.

But just how different is Dua Lipa's look in the photo shoot from previous ones she has done?

Well, the singer's hair looks much shorter than usual, stopping just above her shoulders, although her Instagram reveals she hasn't had it chopped and this is likely a wig.

The top of the hairstyle was also much thicker, and wavier.

Due Lipa's hairstyle in the photoshoot was combined with a fascinating garment.

This only covered the singer's torso like a swimming costume, with her arms and legs exposed, notwithstanding a pair of neutral tights.

The garment was done in the style of a suit template at a tailor.

If you are wealthy enough to be able to afford a tailored suit, the tailor will often produce a template suit to make sure they have your proportions just so.

This suit is not for wearing, however, with lots of exposed stitching and fabric rather that the far more polished finished product.

In this case, the chaotic exposed stitching was visible on the top half of the garment with lots of joins and folds.

The 'suit template' was also evoked by the singer holding a tape measure around herself like a belt, as though she was being measured up for a tailored outfit rather than being in the midst of a photoshoot.

Her make-up took on an understated tone on her face, looking slightly paler and a lip colour which blended with her face.

The only exception was the eyes, which had a very strong and thick eye shadow which even looked deliberately smudged.

One stunned fan commented: "Unrecognisable in this pic."
