A tweet by Ellen DeGeneres from 2016 has now gone viral.
In the tweet, DeGeneres talks about musician Sean 'Diddy' Combs, and wishes him happy birthday.
She then addresses him by the various names that the rapper goes by, writing: "Happy birthday, P Diddy, Puff Daddy, Sean Combs."

But it's the second half of the tweet which has seen it draw such attention on Twitter in recent days.
After listing the rapper's various names, DeGeneres wrote: "or as I call him, Cuddle McSnugglestuff. You don’t need to know why."
The tweet was made back in 2016, but has drawn renewed attention on Twitter in the wake of Diddy's arrest.
Diddy is currently being held in jail after being arrested as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged sex trafficking and racketeering.

Many people on social media were left feeling uncomfortable by the chummy tone of the tweet.
A lot of them were responding to it by saying the same thing - the tweet had aged very poorly.
One person replied: "This didn’t age well," while another commented: "Man...this sure aged well!!"

Meanwhile a third retweeted the post asking the TV host for clarification, writing: "What did you mean by this Ellen?"
Combs was arrested at a New York hotel on September 16 and has been held in federal custody since.
The rapper has been charged with federal sex trafficking and racketeering, with some of the allegations dating back as far as the 1990s.
The allegations include that he abused, threatened, and coerced women for years 'to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct.'

Federal prosecutors have also accused him of 'creating a criminal enterprise'.
As of September 25, 11 people have come forward with accusations towards Combs.
The latest of these is Thalia Graves, who claims that Combs and his bodyguard drugged, bound and raped her in 2001, and also filmed the alleged assault.

A raid carried out by federal agents on Combs' property resulted in officers discovering firearms and ammunition.
They also found more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil at the properties in Miami and Los Angeles during the raids in March.
Combs has denied the allegations made against him and pleaded not guilty to the charges, telling reporters that he is a 'fighter' and is 'not afraid of the charges'.
