Eric Roberts has opened up about being told not to talk about his daughter Emma Roberts, or his sister Julia Roberts.
The actor had been appearing on an episode of the podcast Still Here Hollywood when he was asked about his famous sister, Julia.
At one point, Julia Roberts was one of the most famous celebrities in Hollywood, though reportedly these days she prefers to stay away from the spotlight.

The star's valuing of her privacy was emphasised by her brother Eric in his appearance on the podcast.
When asked about Julia, he remained tightlipped on the topic and didn't give anything away.
He said: "You'll have to ask her. I love my sister, but I can’t talk about her. She don't want to talk about it."
The interview came after Julia was reportedly fuming over Eric's upcoming memoir Runaway Train: or, The Story of My Life So Far, which is set to be released in September.

And his sister is not the only person who has told Eric to keep schtum about, with his daughter Emma Roberts also reportedly telling him to not publicly speak about her.
Eric revealed that Emma had 'told me not to talk about her', admitting that 'I stumbled and do.'
He added: "I'm not supposed to talk about either of them. But I do."

The actor went on to described why he just can't help but speak about his sister, and his daughter in particular.
He said: "I'm in love with my daughter’s work these days. I can’t believe how great she’s become. I'm so proud of her I can't see straight."
The actor added: "Since her performance in Maybe I Do until right now, she overwhelms me with pride and just, 'Oh my God, here she goes again.'
"And I'm just so happy to be her dad because she’s kicking ass. And I’m so proud."

Eric also made a remark around the 'nepo baby' conversation surrounding Emma, saying that he contributed 'absolutely nothing' to her Hollywood success.
Emma has previously caused a stir when she claimed that she had 'lost more jobs than I've gained from being in the business.'
Explaining why she felt that way, she said: "People have opinions and sometimes maybe they're not good opinions of people in your family.

"I’ve never gotten a job because of it, I know I definitely have lost a couple of jobs because of it."
