People can't believe Jenna Ortega's age when she filmed x-rated scenes with 37-year-old Kid Cudi

The Wednesday actor claimed the moment 'wasn't in the script' when she initially signed on to the project.

Jenna Ortega and Martin Freeman’s steamy scene in Miller’s Girl caused a stir on social media earlier this year, but it isn’t the only time the actor has intimately worked with an older actor.

Earlier this year, Miller’s Girl, directed by Jade Halley Bartlett and produced by Seth Rogen, premiered across the US.

Unfortunately, the erotic thriller only earned $889,522 at the box office despite having a $4 million budget and is currently tagged with a low 30 percent rating on the Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer.

At the time of its release, many viewers hopped on X to complain the project was ‘weird’ to watch due to a controversial sex scene and the age gap between leads Ortega, 21, and 52-year-old Freeman.

However, Ortega has previously filmed an intimate moment with another actor far older than her.

In 2022, the former Disney actress starred alongside then 37-year-old Kid Cudi in the horror movie, X.

The A24 slasher sees a group of young filmmakers heading to rural Texas to make an adult film together.

However, things take a turn when their hosts begin murdering them left, right, and centre.

During the film, Ortega, then just 19, strips off and embarks on a sex scene with Cudi - real name Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi.

The cast worked under the guidance of intimacy coordinator Tandi Wright, who Ortega has praised as the ‘sweetest, kindest intimacy coordinator in the world'.

Speaking about the sex scene, Ortega revealed in an interview with Indie Wire that it ‘wasn’t initially in the script’ when she signed on to the project.

“When I signed on, that wasn’t a part [of the film]. It was something that came later on,” she explained to the publication.

"[It was] flipping the stereotype over and just taking somebody who you wouldn’t really see in that position suddenly in that position. I think it adds to the spontaneity of the decision and also just the spontaneity of the film.”

However, she made it clear that she’d been ‘really eager’ to complete working on X as it was something she had ‘never done before’.

So, what’s next for Ortega?

Well, Wednesday series two is currently in the works at Netflix and she’s set to star in the sequel to *Beetlejuice* as Lydia Deetz’s teenage daughter, Astrid.

Elsewhere, the California-born actor is taking on the titular role in the film adaptation of Kazuo Ishiguro’s Klara and the Sun and will star alongside Paul Rudd in Alex Scharfman’s Death of a Unicorn.
