It’s always good to be generous, but sometimes it can come back to bite you.
This was the case with Adam Sandler who left Jennifer Aniston in shock after she found out the lavish gifts he bought for his Grown Up co-stars.
In fact, the Friends star was so miffed about the wrap present that she even walked out of an interview. Take a look for yourself:
It happened earlier this year when the A-List actors were promoting their Netflix movie, Murder Mystery 2, during an interview with USA Today.

Unknowing that she was about to unleash chaos, journalist Erin Jensen asked about the insanely expensive leaving presents that Sandler bought for his Grown Ups cast mates.
Having starred alongside Kevin James, David Space, Chris Rock and Rob Schneider, the actor chose to skip a greeting card or a round of drinks, reportedly giving way cars instead (as you do).
We're not talking budget vehicles either, but Maseratis and Teslas, according to Sandler.

He admitted that it was true, telling Aniston that Schneider 'got a Tesla', with Vulture reporting that the gift set the Uncut Gems star back about $800,000.
Aniston has starred in three movies with Sandler so far, including the original Murder Mystery (2019) and Just Go With It (2011) but her reaction in the interview makes it very clear that she was never given a leaving gift as good as the stars of Grown Ups.
"You gave your co-stars Maseratis?" she asked Sandler with dismay.
Sandler did his best to keep his head above water as he tried to claim that he'd attempted to gift Aniston a Ferrari for each of their movies, but that he kept facing issues when they were being delivered.

Needless to say, Aniston didn't buy it.
Her sudden departure prompted Sandler to realize he'd messed up and beg for her to come back and join him, but when she did she insisted she didn't 'need fancy things'.
Sandler wasn't going to give up though, claiming he'd bought his co-star a white Mercedes for working with him.

The 50 First Dates star definitely has some making up to do, and given that he's already set a benchmark of a car, he'll have to come up with something pretty impressive.
Until then, fans will be able to watch Sandler and Aniston get up to some more antics in Murder Mystery 2 on Netflix.
