Jennifer Aniston has continued to prove she's an icon after calling out vice presidential candidate JD Vance for his comments about women.
It started with her as Rachel in Friends leaving her cushy life to make it on her own in New York, and decades later Aniston is still a hero for women, this time in the real world.
The actor took to Instagram this week to share her thoughts after a clip from a 2021 episode of Tucker Carlson Tonight, in which the Fox News host welcomed Vance on to the show, went viral.
The interview took place when Vance was running for Ohio's US Senate seat, just a few months after President Joe Biden had been inaugurated with Kamala Harris as his Vice President.

Vance didn't appear concerned about causing controversy or losing a certain demographic of supporters when he shared his thoughts on the show, as he commented: "We are effectively run in this country … by a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they’ve made, and so they wanna make the rest of the country miserable, too.
"It's just a basic fact. You look at Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, AOC (Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez), the entire future of the Democrats is controlled by people without children.
"And how does it make any sense that we've turned our country over to people who don't really have a direct stake in it?"

Harris shares two step-children with her husband, Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff. Pete Buttigieg, the Secretary of Transportation, and his husband Chasten became fathers to twins just weeks after Vance's interview.
Three years on, Vance has been chosen as the vice presidential pick for Republican Donald Trump, going up against Harris as she hopes to become the first female president of the United States.
His comments resurfaced as Harris announced her campaign, and Aniston is one of many calling him out.

Taking to her Instagram Story, the actor wrote: "I truly can't believe this is coming from a potential VP of the United States.
"All I can say is… Mr. Vance, I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to bear children of her own one day. I hope she will not need to turn to IVF as a second option. Because you are trying to take that away from her, too."
Aniston has previously spoken candidly about her struggles to get pregnant, describing it as a 'challenging road'.
In an interview with Allure, she said: "I would’ve given anything if someone had said to me, 'Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favor.' You just don't think it. So here I am today. The ship has sailed."

Harris herself has criticized Vance's stance on abortions and pregnancies, saying during a recent campaign stop in Michigan that he had 'participated in blocking protections for IVF' and has 'made every indication that he is for a national abortion ban'.
